Up and Down

Well, I called this morning to schedule my job interview. Originally she asked if I could come in today at 1:30pm. I of course, said yes. Once I got off the phone I was all excited and dancing around the living room. I woke up Master long enough to tell Him. Not 15 minutes later, I get a phone call from the place and the human resources lady apologizes to me and explains that she had screwed up the schedule and was wondering if I would be able to switch my interview to Wednesday at 3pm. I said, "Yes, of course."

So upside, I still have the interview. It would have sucked a lot more if she had said, "Sorry. We changed our minds." But it was a bit of a let down after getting all excited. I am still excited about Wednesday though. I hope I get this job. I don't want to do another day at Denny's. I really don't. But I'll do what I have to do.
